Louis Perez, the father of a boy accused in a BB gun vandalism spree in Rio Rancho says police and neighbors have been harassing him and he wants it to stop immediately.
"I'd appreciate if everyone just leaves us alone just leave us alone that's all we ask just leave us alone," Perez said.
About a week ago, police hauled his son off in connection to the recent BB gun rampage in a Rio Rancho neighborhood near Unser and Northern.
Police say the boy admitted to shooting out car windows.
But just this weekend there was more vandalism on the same street involving paintballs. Perez says neighbors think his son is out on house arrest and may be responsible, and claims police are also pointing the finger at his son.
